Calling all Horse Lover’s Math Club Members!
Horse Lover’s Math will be creating a series of posts covering the upcoming Vancouver show of Cavalia Odysseo.
Have you heard about the show before?
Cavalia Odysseo is a live show combining equestrian arts, acrobatics and high-tech theatrical effects. Check out this video and you’ll see what it’s all about.
Fantastic isn’t it? Some of the scenes showed a herd of horses all running around at the same time. How did they decide how big to make the stage for such a scene and how to build it?
Sometimes in the video it appeared that the horses were walking through a forest, other times they were in a red desert. How do they create those scenes? And the water – how do they do that? Well, it turns out a lot of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) went into making the show.
