Emilie Sénèque and her colleagues from the University of Rennes hypothesized that horses with compromised welfare would reveal them through chronic body postures. The Mounted Patrol Foundation and the Woodside-area Horse Owners Association announced they would be giving an Equestrian Merit Scholarship Award.
