Description
Equine ethologists scientifically study horse behaviour using both laboratory and field science methods. One area of research looked at how four different groups of horses divided their time between the activities that satisfy their four basic needs: food, water, movement and rest. This is called their time budget.

I ordered all of the available worksheets! I was always trying to put our math problems into “horsey” situations, but this does the work for me!!! I use the worksheets as a break from the drudgery of “required” high school courses so my daughter can practice life-applicable math that corresponds with her passion – horses!! Yes, I said high school. While these math problems are geared toward younger students, my daughter is not strong in math, and I like giving her review of concepts she’s had before. It boosts her confidence before returning to the advanced math (high school required courses) that she dreads. I highly recommend these worksheets (you have to print yourself or just download and do them on the computer)! Covers lots of important math concepts for any age (from 4th grade up)!! I’ve purchased a lot of material for homeschooling, and this is my favorite!!!

Fantastic way to review concepts they’ve learned before or practice new ones! If you have a horse-loving student, these worksheets are an excellent way to put concepts into “horsey situations” to make them more interesting. Each worksheet comes with several problems (10-15) . Says for 4th – 5th grade which is probably accurate, but I use them as review for my 9th grader. She is not strong in math, and it builds her confidence to review math that she knows already in a life-applicable way! I ordered all of the available worksheets. The author does an excellent job! My favorite homeschool material purchase!!!
