Healthy treats are nice to have to feed to our horses. We can use treats as rewards, for encouragement, or simply because it is fun to feed a horse by hand something they so obviously enjoy.
Healthy horse treats are those that do not contain additives, preservatives, or artificial flavourings. And remember, treats are not intended to replace the normal grain or hay ration, but should be fed in small amounts per day.
Now, let’s get cooking
Here’s an easy horse cookie recipe for you to make for your favourite horse or horses. Cooking involves lots of math – you need to know how to read and tell time, understand temperature and measure ingredients. Here is a recipe to practice your baking – and math skills.
